A list of previous search queries

As soon as a customer clicks into the search box, they immediately see what they last searched for with you - one click takes them straight back to where they left off.

How it works

  • As soon as a customer confirms a query, Search Ready securely stores it in the customer's browser - not on our servers.
  • The next time they click into search, their recent queries appear right away as clickable tags below the search box.
  • If a user searches for the same thing again, the query isn't duplicated - it just moves to the top.
  • Customers can delete a single query at any time with a cross, or clear the entire history with the "Clear all" button.

Benefits for you

  • A customer returning to a product they'd previously looked at doesn't have to type anything again.
  • History loads directly from the browser, so it responds instantly and doesn't put any load on the e-shop's server.
  • If the history is empty, the element hides itself automatically and doesn't take up any space.
  • The interface is available in 11 languages, including Czech and Slovak.
